Obesity is a health problem that has a risk of cardiovascular systems, metabolic and malignant diseases and even depression. One mediator between obesity and depression is emotional eating behavior. The community engagement aims is to help a special group of students who are obese in creating self awareness of emotional eating and understanding the management of emotional eating problems through a method approach and spiritual emotional freedom technique (SEFT), relaxation and introduction of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) methods . The method used was counseling or training for 14 obese students (7 obese 1 and 7 obese 2) at the Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health Tasikmalaya. Students were given pre-test and post-test questions to measure the understanding / knowledge gained. In addition, students also evaluate themselves to measure emotional eating behavior using the Garaulet water emotional questionnaire. Measurement of the level of emotional eating is done on the first day of training and evaluated five months later. The results showed the creation of participant's self awareness of the level of emotional eating behavior, participants could demonstrated the management of emotional eating, increased in  the average knowledge of participants in the management of emotional eating (the average value increased from 77.4 to 90) and the progress of the average level of emotional eating behavior ( score decreased 1.35).
